Mini Metro

Functional diagram turned into a living system

What the visual system communicates

Mini Metro borrows the visual grammar of transit maps: colored lines, station symbols and clean spacing. The same marks explain both the network and its changing operational state.

As density increases, hierarchy becomes the challenge. New alerts and routes must remain distinguishable without abandoning the clarity of the original diagram.

On a small screen

Dragging routes is direct and legible, while small stations and crossings require careful target sizing on compact displays.

Typical session structure: Expandable run. This is an editorial description of pacing, not a measured time claim; sessions vary with play style and current product version.
