Visual design note
Alto's Odyssey
Atmosphere carried by layered silhouettes
What the visual system communicates
Layered landscape silhouettes create depth with a limited vocabulary of shape and tone. Shifts in light and weather change mood while keeping the moving figure readable against the horizon.
The interface stays relatively quiet because the world itself communicates pace. This is a reminder that removing persistent controls can strengthen hierarchy when the interaction model truly supports it.
On a small screen
A restrained control scheme reduces reach demands, though animation and contrast still need to survive varied lighting and motion preferences.
Typical session structure: Run-based. This is an editorial description of pacing, not a measured time claim; sessions vary with play style and current product version.
